Extremely versatile and robust mobile computer

The Intermec CN51 mobile computer is available with Android or Windows operating systems. This makes migration into existing company structures easier. It is also fully compatible with the previous Intermec CN50 model. All accessories can also be used 1:1 with the new mobile computer model. The 4″ multi-touch display is very durable and has a razor-sharp display. As with consumer smartphones, the screen content can be rotated when the device is tilted, which can be very useful for special applications. The integrated imager scanning module has first-class motion tolerance and reads 1D and 2D barcode symbologies extremely quickly and reliably. The powerful battery lasts longer than one shift and leaves enough room for overtime.

The 5 megapixel color camera, in combination with leading image processing technologies, offers performance features that go beyond just reading barcodes. With the help of the Mobile Document Imaging (MDI) and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) functions, full-page paper documents can be quickly and reliably converted on the go, payments can be entered into electronic files and directly transferred to the back office workflow on a mobile basis.

The large multi-touch display of the CN51 is easy to read even outdoors, offers plenty of space for displaying applications and capturing signatures, the operator does not have to constantly scroll and can work comfortably and productively. The state-of-the-art smart battery lasts for a full work shift, reducing the costs associated with battery replacement.
The CN51's high-performance imager allows barcodes to be scanned quickly and accurately, even in poor lighting conditions, and its excellent motion tolerance eliminates the constant delays that drive up costs and frustrate operators in scan-intensive applications. The 5 megapixel color camera in conjunction with the state-of-the-art Honeywell image processing technologies offer further application possibilities beyond reading barcodes. The CN51 computer offers Flexible Network radio transmission (in North America) with voice recognition, so that the device works on both CDMA and UMTS wireless networks. Depending on which network offers the best spatial coverage or the cheapest costs, the CN51 computer can be easily switched at any time.
