Based on the models of TC72/TC77 Zebra has revised its flagship touchscreen computer for demanding applications and raised it to a new technical level.

Larger & more robust – and still lighter than its predecessor

New material technologies make it possible to produce a larger device with a more robust design without adding weight to the device. The TC73 and TC78 survive multiple falls from heights of over 3 meters without any problems - a new record! With protection classes IP65 and IP68, the Zebra TC73/78 is dustproof and waterproof and can withstand being sprayed with a water hose or briefly immersed in water.

The large, borderless 6-inch display provides an overview without annoying scrolling and is easy to read indoors and outdoors. The touch display can be operated with or without gloves, with a stylus and even in the rain.

10-year operational guarantee for industry

Zebra will offer the TC73/TC78 series for sale for five years and manufacturer service and support will be available for ten years. A safe investment for companies.

With LifeGuard for Android, you can secure mobile computers for their entire lifespan and restrict access to certain apps and device functions. The right battery for your application

Depending on the intended application, there are 4 battery options to choose from:

• Standard capacity (4400 mAh)
• Extended Capacity (6600mAh)
• Wireless charging (4400mAh)
• BLE (4400 mAh, Bluetooth Low Energy, allows devices to be found even when they are turned off)

The mobile data collection device is charged with a standard USB-C charging cable. The battery can be changed at any time via the battery compartment on the device. There is also the option that the batteries can be changed according to the “hot swap” principle (during operation without the device shutting down) or the “warm swap” mode (device switches off).

Various barcode scanners

Depending on which application the mobile device is used in, there are two different integrated barcode scanners:

• Zebra Scan Engine SE4770 for 1D and 2D barcodes in the standard scanning range of up to 60cm
• Zebra Scan Engine SE55 for 1D and 2D barcodes with IntelliFocus technology for capturing barcodes from close and long range up to a distance of up to 12 meters.

The optional “pistol grip” allows the TC73/TC78 to be used even better for scan-intensive applications.

Powerful processor

The Qualcomm 6490 octa-core processor with more computing power and faster graphics processes enables smooth work with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory - even when several demanding applications are running at the same time.

Optional functionality

Zebra has some exciting options that can expand the application range of the TC73/75 mobile computer

• Zebra Dimensioning: Thanks to the integrated depth sensor, the software enables you to record package dimensions and determine precise shipping costs
• With the Workforce docking station you can use the TC73/78 like a desktop computer. With external monitor, keyboard and mouse (see description for Zebra TC53 and TC58).
• With the optionally available RFID holder, the mobile computer can be used as an RFID reader and capture up to 1300 tags/second.
• With Zebra Workforce Connect Your mobile computer becomes a two-way radio and/or can be integrated into the company network as a full-fledged telephone.
