Compact mobile computer
With the EC30 mobile computer, Zebra is launching a compact and powerful device that can easily be carried on the person. Its compact dimensions allow it to fit in any trouser or shirt pocket, and it can also be worn around the neck with a lanyard using the appropriate accessories. It connects to the company network via Wi-Fi. Data communication is also possible via Bluetooth.
The robust EC30 mobile computer is intended for applications where a normal handheld computer is too bulky or for applications in which a mobile input device is only occasionally required. At the same time, thanks to the integrated push-to-talk technology (PTT), it is a communication accelerator in the company that can be easily carried by every employee. The EC30 mobile computer combines information and communication devices in one device.
1D/2D barcode scanner and push-to-talk function (PTT) integrated
Integrated into the small mobile computer with a 3-inch display is a 1D/2D barcode scanner, as well as the free Zebra Push-to-Talk (PTT) function, which enables two-way communication within a company network. This allows, for example, immediate consultations with colleagues in the warehouse to check the availability of missing items. This leads to faster collaboration and quicker responses to customer inquiries. The Push-to-Talk function is pre-installed or pre-licensed on every EC30 and enables direct PTT communication with any employee carrying a PTT Express-enabled Zebra mobile device within your company network (More information on PTT Express and Workforce Connect ).
Current Android operating system
The EC30 comes with an Android operating system and can be operated smoothly and easily via its 3" display. Daily tasks can be completed more quickly and easily (rapid price inquiries via barcode scan, inventory checks, etc.). With its powerful battery, operating cycles of 8 to 10 hours are no problem, and thanks to the optional 2-bay or 10-bay charging stations, fully charged devices are always available.
