The Android mobile computer Skorpio X5 from Datalogic is a handheld MDE terminal and is characterized by high flexibility and robustness.

Two configurable form factors, 3 scan engines, 3 keyboard layouts and 2 charging technologies, as well as high-end computing power enable individual adaptation to a wide variety of customer conditions.

Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 platform (2,3 GHZ), the Skorpio X5 scores with excellent performance. The product runs on the Android operating system (Android 10), so the Datalogic Skorpio X5 is a future-proof investment. Data transmission takes place via WLAN radio technology. Furthermore, the Skorpio X5 also offers the option of using Bluetooth v5.0 and NFC for data transfer.

Contactless charging technology – or classic charging via contacts

As standard, the Skorpio X5 comes with ordinary contacts (pogo pin connection). It is also optionally available with Datalogic's completely contactless charging system, which is extremely reliable and eliminates maintenance problems that can arise from contacts.

Scan without interruption

The Skorpio X5 works uninterrupted, even in the most energy-intensive applications. Thanks to hot-swap battery technology, state-of-the-art wireless charging system and intelligent battery management, the device can be used 24/7. The battery status can be checked via the Datalogic Smart Battery Pack.

Overview and best readability

With a 4,3-inch display, the Skorpio X5 has a large and bright display. It offers plenty of space for demanding applications and ensures excellent readability in all applications - both indoors and outdoors.
