RS5000x – The perfect scanner solution for Zebra wearables

The Zebra RS5000 series combines two powerful ring scanners specifically designed for use with Zebra wearable computers. Both models deliver precise, fast scans with maximum freedom of movement and are ideal for warehousing, logistics, retail, and industrial manufacturing. The RS5000 offers outstanding value for standard environments, while the RS5000x is also designed for extreme temperatures and deep-freeze applications.

Intelligent scanning with PRZM technology

Both models feature Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology, which delivers superior scanning performance through reduced decoding times. Even damaged, poorly printed, or barcodes illegible by packaging are captured quickly and reliably. The RS5000 and RS5000x thus support the digitalization of your processes – from receiving to picking.

Omnidirectional scanning technology allows codes to be read in any position without alignment. The RS5000x also features a highly visible laser crosshair for precise targeting in difficult lighting conditions.

Focus on comfort and hygiene

Thanks to their compact, lightweight design, both models can be comfortably worn on a single finger – either on the left or right. This allows for all-day work without strain. The devices are tool-free and can be equipped with custom finger loops – a plus for hygiene and employee satisfaction during shift work.

Extremely robust – made for every application environment

Whether it's a production line, warehouse, or sales floor, the RS5000 series is designed for durability. Both models are IP65-certified, shock-resistant up to a 1,2 m drop height, and can withstand 1.000 rollovers from a height of 0,5 m.

Special feature of the RS5000x: This scanner is also optimized for freezer rooms down to -30°C. A special trigger holder even allows use with thick freezer gloves – without loss of comfort or operating difficulties.

Easy to operate & manage:

Both scanners connect directly to Zebra wearables such as the WT6000, WT6300, or WT6400 via cable—no additional batteries or pairing required. They are compatible with Zebra DataWedge and can be managed via common EMM/MDM solutions—ideal for standardized corporate infrastructures.
