The handheld imagers Zebra DS8100 series convince with the best reading properties. The healthcare version of the barcode scanner has interesting features for the medical sector.
1D and 2D barcodes are quickly captured and even problematic barcodes can be captured immediately. These include labels that are printed too densely or in poor quality, wrinkled, faded, distorted, dirty and damaged, as well as electronic barcodes on poorly lit displays. This makes the Zebra barcode scanner a useful tool at checkouts, in light warehouse environments or even in the office.
A special feature is the full-page document capture. With a single press of the shutter button, Zebra's high-resolution camera and document capture capture an entire DIN A4 page and transfer the data in a suitable format for document archiving.
Another outstanding feature is the ability to capture multiple barcodes with a single trigger. Multi-code Data Formatting (MDF) allows multiple barcodes to be scanned simultaneously and only the required data can be transmitted to the application in the correct order.
Especially during scanning-intensive times, the exclusive, intelligent PowerPrecision+ batteries ensure that you always have enough energy in the scanner. The devices are permanently available and do not need to be charged while working. Due to the optimally coordinated combination of hardware and algorithms, the DS8100 series can also immediately capture damaged barcodes whose quality is not optimal.
The wired DS8108 and the wireless (mobile) Zebra DS8178 automatically recognize manual and presentation operation by simply inserting or removing them from the presentation stand.
Zebra's new WiFi Friendly mode ensures that the barcode scanners do not interfere with existing WiFi connections.
