Durable 2D handheld retail scanner

Honeywell developed the Voyager Extreme Performance 1470g specifically for retail work environments. In addition to all conventional 1D and 2D barcodes, the barcode scanner also captures DotCodes and digital vouchers from smartphones or tablets. Damaged or difficult-to-read barcodes are read reliably and quickly, thus achieving efficient workflows. The greater scanning distance means that even inaccessible barcodes are captured. The scanner's movement tolerance is 70 cm/s - the scanning angle is 39,2° horizontally and 27,4° vertically. The hand scanner is connected with a cable. Available in black and white.

The 2D barcode scanner can easily withstand multiple drops from a height of up to 1,8 meters and is protected against the ingress of foreign objects up to 40 mm in accordance with its IP1 certification. The optimized scanning technology makes scanning poorly printed or damaged barcodes effortless. The scanner is equipped with interfaces such as Multi Interface (Multi-IF) USB, Keyboard Wedge (KBW), RS-232 and RS-485 with support for IBM 46XX. A special feature is that it is completely backwards compatible with existing Voyager accessories. This means the total operating costs are reduced enormously, as there are no additional costs for optional accessories.
