The Datalogic PowerScan PD9501 Area Imager offers omnidirectional scanning with very good reading properties. The industrial scanner records 1D and 2D barcodes regardless of its orientation. During the further development of Datalogic's proven PowerScan 8500 series, attention was paid to a good handle shape, a balanced weight and an intuitive aiming system. Values ​​that are noticeable the first time they are used and enable secure, quick capture of barcodes. The robust construction allows it to be used even in harsh industrial environments.

The PowerScan™ 9501 family is a combination of omnidirectional scanning performance with distinctive optical properties and offers simple scanning processes. Depending on the quality of the barcode, the scanner can read the information up to a distance of 1 m. The device features the latest version of Datalogic decoding software to provide optimal reading performance in any operating environment. Particular attention was paid to user-friendliness when developing the PowerScan 9500: The handy handle shape, the relative weight and the simple aiming system ensure optimal reading results with a scanner that always fits comfortably in the hand. Another new feature is the lighting system consisting of white light, which puts little strain on the user's eyes even in scan-intensive applications. The robust mechanics of the Powerscans secure your application even over long periods of use. The PD9501 is designed for use in harsh environments. The series is protected against dust and splash water with protection class IP65. Repeated impacts, as well as use indoors and outdoors or in the harshest operating environments, do not affect the performance of the barcode scanner.

• Datalogic PowerScan PD9531-AR: Supports capturing 1D and 2D barcodes from close up but also from long distances (15cm to 20 meters)
• Datalogic PowerScan PD9531-HP: High Performance – For capturing high-resolution codes while simultaneously capturing wide-angle images (up to A4)
• Datalogic PowerScan PD9531-DPM: For simple DPM applications with specific decoding software
• Datalogic PowerScan PD9591-DPM: With multi-axis lighting technology for demanding DPM applications.
