Zebra ZD220 / ZD230 Series

The manufacturer (Zebra) has expanded the ZD barcode printer series with two more models - the ZD220 and ZD230. Both mobile label printers are perfect for users who expect top performance at an affordable price, with a wide range of functions and little training required. The card printer prints labels using both thermal transfer (printing with a ribbon) and direct thermal processes (printing without a ribbon) at a resolution of 203 dpi. The maximum print width is 104 mm and the maximum print speed is 4 ips (102 mm/sec.).

These 4-inch label printers feature solid construction, a great out-of-the-box experience, ease of use, and essential features that today's users need to keep their workflows moving. The label printer is a direct replacement for the GC420 and is only available with a USB port. The label printer can easily replace older printers with ZPL, EPL or non-Zebra command languages.

Both Zebra printers are easy to install and ready to use right out of the box. USB connectivity enables universal interoperability. Easily replace legacy printers using ZPL, EPL or non-Zebra command languages. Media changes are accelerated by Zebra's OpenACCESS™ clamshell design. It is ideal for mobile use in transportation and logistics, industrial, retail and healthcare to print a wide variety of tickets, tags, ID cards, labels and receipts.
