New variant in the TC52x product family
With the TC52ax mobile computer Zebra is launching a new version of the popular series with improved features:
- 6 WiFi
- SE5500 Advanced Range scanning module with improved reading range
- Battery with Bluetooth beacon for device search even when the device is switched off
- Android 11 operating system
TC52ax with Workstation Connect for desktop computer-like applications
The TC52ax is also Zebra's first mobile computer with Workstation Connect. This allows Zebra mobile computers to connect to multiple peripheral devices so that they can be used in a similar way to working on a desktop.
By plugging the mobile computer into the base station with Workforce Connect, you can work on a screen with a keyboard and mouse, similar to a desktop computer.
Typical applications can be found, for example, in:
Hardware store/supermarket: Employees often use mobile computers to enter and read information directly on the sales shelves and a separate PC in the office area. With the Zebra TC52ax, all applications could now be covered with one device and the applications in the back office could also be handled via the Workforce Connect base station.
Hotel: Hotel employees can use the same device to quickly check in guests' luggage, communicate with other hotel employees (push-to-talk) and at the same time use the mobile device as a desktop replacement
