Zebra RS5100
Top features of the Zebra RS5100
- Extremely easy
- Wireless
- 1D laser or 1D-2D imager
- Both hands free when picking
Ring scanners have the advantage that the order picker has both hands free when working in the logistics warehouse and can therefore carry out daily work better and faster. The less the device disrupts and adapts to typical work processes, the better the acceptance by the order picker. The mobile wireless Bluetooth ring scanner RS5100 from Zebra has the best conditions for this. The slim design (in black) and the low weight of only 70g lead to fluid and productive work in the warehouse. The first-class scanning functionality enables the goods to be recorded immediately. The scanner is worn on one finger and impresses with the best scanning performance. Depending on your needs, a 1D laser scanner or a 1D-2D imager can be used as the scan engine. Using Bluetooth, the Zebra RS5100 can communicate with virtually any mobile computer or tablet and the recorded data can be processed or edited directly.
Two-piece design: The trigger unit is removable
The robust ring scanner from Zebra has a two-part design. The upper scanner unit is separate and can be attached to the lower trigger unit. This also makes the scanner unit open to other scanning applications. The scanner can also be carried on the belt loop using a lenyard and is therefore also open to applications that are not too scan-intensive as a data collector in retail or warehouse areas. There is also a single trigger and a double trigger (left- and right-handed), which can be attached to the scanner as required.
With NFC technology, the barcode scanner is easy to use with NFC-enabled devices, such as the Zebra wearable computer WT6000 or the Zebra TC52 mobile computer to pair.
If necessary, successful scans can be indicated visually using LED lights on the back of the device or by means of a beep. In addition, a noticeable vibration can alert employees to exceptional cases in rooms with very high noise levels.
The RS5100 comes with two available battery variants. The standard battery is designed for a full day or around 14400 scans, whereas the extended battery ensures even longer operation or is particularly suitable for cold environments.
The single trigger can be used with or without gloves and can be adjusted for the left and right hand. The double trigger allows the device to be changed directly between hands and is intended for use without gloves. Available on both single and dual trigger variants, the built-in top trigger allows the user to carry the RS5100 barcode scanner on the side of a finger with virtually no protrusion above the hand - ideal for tight areas.
With the optionally available multiple charging stations, up to 20 RS5100 scanners or 40 RS5100 batteries can be charged simultaneously.
