Robust industrial barcode scanners with 2D imager technology
The Zebra 35×8 series barcode scanners capture almost all 1D and 2D barcodes thanks to digital image capture technology. With the wireless version Zebra DS3578, unhindered wireless work is possible thanks to Bluetooth wireless technology.
The barcode scanners were specially developed for harsh industrial environments and are very robust.
The barcode scanner series has been discontinued by Zebra. Currently only the Zebra DS3508-DP and Zebra DS3578-DP models are available for capturing DPM codes. There is already a successor device for all other models: Zebra 3600 barcode scanner series.
Four models for different application scenarios
All barcode scanner models are available as a wired model (DS3508) and as a wireless barcode scanner with Bluetooth wireless technology (DS3578).
- Zebra DS3578-SR: Standard Range: Capture 1D and 2D barcodes quickly and safely at close ranges of up to 40cm
- Zebra DS3508-ER | Zebra DS3578-ER: Long-range scanner. Reads barcodes quickly and accurately from a distance of up to 8,50 meters
- Zebra DS3578-HD: Optimized for capturing very small codes (high density)
- Zebra DS3508-DP | Zebra DS3578-DP: Particularly suitable for DPM applications (Direct Part Marking) - codes that are nailed directly onto the product, etched or generally difficult to read.
